9th December, British newspaper «The Observer», with reference to
sources in Defence
Ministry of USA reported that with the following stage of the so-called
anti-terrorist campaign. The bombing of Somalia can become USA. «The military
pilots of USA accomplish reconnaissance flights for the purpose of the detection
of two camps of «al-Qaeda» near the boundary with Kenya and preparations for
inflicting of rocket-bomb attacks on these camps», it writes «The Observer».
According to the report of newspaper, the warships of American Navy fleet
overlapped approaches to Somali capital, Mogadishu
in that case, if here wants to be relocated Osama Ben Laden.
It
is today obvious that Americans completely can repeat Afghan scenario with
respect to Somalia. Kavkaz-Centre already wrote that it is favourable for USA,
so that Osama Ben Laden would not be detected: otherwise by something it will
explain the reason for declaration of war against the sequential Moslem country.
On the probability of attack in Somalia reports also Austrian newspaper «Die
Press». And here also they refer to sources in the Pentagon. On 25th
November, influential British weekly «Sunday Times» it wrote: «War against
terrorism will be extended to three more countries, as soon as campaign in
Afghanistan will be completed. The countries, connected with Osama Ben Laden,
Somalia, Sudan and Yemen, are located in the upper part of the list of the
countries, on which can be made attacks by forces of USA and allies. In this
case, the leading role in the preparation of the intrusion of military
subdivisions of allies into Somalia, Sudan and Yemen plays British intelligence
service MI6. Attacks will be directed basically on the training camps of
terrorists, they can be realized already during January, 2002».
Taking into account the publications in two above-mentioned influential European
newspapers, it is possible to conclude that the information «Sundays Times»
appears completely plausible. The anti-Islamic essence of American aggression
expressed itself from the very beginning of the so-called antiterrorist
operation. So attack on Somalia is simply a question of time. But the fact is,
is it possible to accomplish this via the operation, similar to Afghan. In
Afghanistan everything came to the war between Taliban and Northern Alliance,
while in Somalia will no longer be forces, on which USA can lean.
America has the experience of armed skirmishes with Americans in Somalia. In
1993-1994, USA paid high price for the interference in internal affairs of this
country. They left Somalia, after calculating death of several ten of its
military servicemen unjustified in the course of fulfilment of humanitarian
mission. Now, it is similar,
Americans want to return here into revenge for the death of their soldiers.
But, as stated leader of Somalia national alliance of Hussein
Aideed, the son of General Mohammed Aideed, whose soldiers compelled American
military servicemen to leave from the country, Somalia support Osama Ben Laden
not for the fact that he allegedly opened there preparatory camp of «al-Qaeda»,
but for the fact that he opened working sites in this impoverished country.
Today thousand of Somalia people earn their living-beings in numerous
enterprises of Osama Ben Laden, which produce peaceful production. Hardly these
people will be reconciled with American aggression, which will deprive them of
their source of subsistence. And then they will be ready with the weapon in the
hands to shield their vitally important interests. Moreover according to Hussein
Aydid, to the aid of Somalia from other countries will arrive volunteers,
including soldiers of «al-Qaeda».
He indicates that they already began to arrive in Somalia. So that resistance
will here be more than serious.
One additional target of Americans is Iraq. This is what writes about this
American periodical «Time»:
Judging
by everything, war in Afghanistan is won. But the President of USA, Bush does
not get tired of recalling that war against terrorism only began. Thus, where
will be made its following attack inexorable American armada? Periodical
asks, and it continues:

here Bush introduced new nuance into his flexible interpretation of concept «terrorism».
He stated that they will be drawn to the responsibility and regimes, which
develop the weapon of mass destruction and they terrorize other countries. This
threat was unambiguously addressed to Saddam Hussein. There are no direct proofs
of the participation of Saddam to terrorist acts on 11th September.
But even without them there are numerous arguments in favour of military
operation for the purpose of the over-throw of dictator. It already works by
decades at the creation of the weapon of mass destruction. Three years ago flung
out from the country of the inspectors of UN, who impeded this program. He used
chemical weaponry against Iran and against its own citizens. He established
police regime in the country, even more criminal than the regime of Taliban.
Everything
is understandable from the rubbish, which for years is dragged along in the
garret of Texas rancho of Bush's family; it is taken out to the light of old
buskins. Thus was called in antique Greece, property-room’s footwear on the
very high wooden sole, on which grew up artists during performance of their
roles. On these buskins, ten years ago stood up father of the present President
of USA, senior George Bush, and operation «Storm in the desert» commanded the
present Secretary of State of USA Colin Powell. But by them, in spite of obvious
military victory, so could not then break Saddam Hussein. Now, judging by
everything, son wants to take vengeance for the father and to complete his
matter by the over-throw of Saddam.
«Any matter can be dealt in three methods: correctly, incorrectly and
militarily», says American proverb. This is exactly that case, when Americans
do everything militarily. All arguments first of all enumerated above do not
convince the allies of USA. Chancellor germaniums Gerhard Schroeder directly
stated in the last week that he is against the expansion of combat operations
beyond the limits of Afghanistan. And even British premier Tony Blair, the loyal
arm-bearer of Bush, tactfully hints, that it is not bad to discipline the
American «hawks».
Now let us return at the beginning of the article of the American periodical «Times»,
where is asserted the thought about the fact that war in Afghanistan is won. We
strongly doubt this. Made in Germany of the «Bonn’s government», Hamid
Karzai, so far, that no changes in the situation has been introduced. Authority
of Karzai is recognized itself only in some populated by Pashtun villages in the
east and south.
To the same Rabbani, so far that it did not forego the title of the President of
Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, but Tajik and Uzbek detachments continue to
quarrel both with each other and with Pashtun militiamen. Serious losses are
carried in the recent days of USAF (United States Air force) strategic bomber of
the B-1 was hit, the number of victims among commandos increases dependent on
that to hide them or not. It is not worthwhile to be calmed concerning the fact
that Taliban do not conduct even larger-scale guerrilla warfare. It already
begins. And at hand, in our view that day, when present allies (and not only
they) curse Bush, who drew them in the swamp of the war, begun by it in the
emotional impulse, without taking into account the inexorably moved reality.
