Russia
is already on threshold of the cemetery, where, apparently, will be buried its
sequential «bright future». The psychological break, which reigns today in
Russian society, runs against this gloomy prediction. The mood of hopelessness,
the sensation of predestination to the failure, produced a sharp increase in
cases of suicide and general waifs and strays. By
the unanimous acknowledgement of sociologists, all this is the terrible
diagnosis of degradation of Russian statehood.
An
increase in the number of suicides in Ulyanovsk, for example, all-Russian level
exceeds by one and a half times. Only in the last five years, the number of
people, who decided to give even with life, increased four times. Specialists
explain this phenomenon by different reason. One of them is notorious «soft
entry into market», when authorities attempted to fence its region and its
inhabitants from the burdens of economic reforms. Now, psychologists speak, for
Ulyanovsk is necessary to make up that missed, i.e., to enter the country into
market economy, but some people proved that for this, morally they were not
ready. It can be, to this does contribute ominous karma of the governor of
region, General Shamanov, who became famous by the murder of Chechen children
and old men?
So
is the case or not, but only in nine months of this year, as report specialists
of the urban center of health epidemic review, in Ulyanovsk, 302 people
attempted to be poisoned. This means that 44 cases of suicide fall to one
hundred thousand inhabitants. However, all-Russian index - 32 cases to one
hundred thousand people.

The problem of suicide became so serious for Ulyanovsk that in the provincial
center of socio-psychological aid to family and to children was conducted in the
special seminar for the journalists. According to the doctors, in the majority
of depressive people appears at least the thought about suicide, writes site

Doctors
call «classic» signs of the Russian depression: mood is reduced, feeling of
fatigue, depression appears, and for man is difficult to be concentrated on
anything. Everything is received in the gloomiest tones even it seems that there
is no output. Appears a feeling of fault, up to the self-disparagement.
Homeless
children are another misfortune of Russia. By the unanimous acknowledgement of
sociologists, this is one of the sharpest social ulcers of contemporary Russian
society. If in the Soviet years, word stray was associated to people with
post-revolutionaries or postwar time, then now this concept entered into
ordinary daily activity and long ago already no one is astonished by it.
In
1925, in Russian federation were counted about 200 thousand homeless children.
241 additional 227 children, who remained without parents, were living in
orphanages and orphan shelters. It passed 76 years... Today, on the most modest
calculations of the ministry of formation, in Russia are approximately 2 million
homeless children. But, official numbers are strongly understated according to
the data of the member of the council of federation, Anatoliy Korobeinikov - in
reality the number of stray lies at «crotch» from 1,5 to 4 millions!
Furthermore,
600 thousand children are considered social orphans - i.e., they live in the
orphanages and the boarding schools despite the fact that their parents are
living in completely soundly.
Situation
in this sphere remains threatening. Children's neglect and increase in the
criminality among the young continues to remain to an alarming high level. Thus,
in 10 months of the current year was fixed an increase in the criminality among
the young. According to the data of the vice-Premier of Russian government,
Valentine Matviyenko, in year 2000 to the centers of temporary isolation for the
young criminals reached the order of 30 thousand children.
During
the sums of 10 months of the current year in the territory of Russia, by the
young and with their participation were committed 145,7 thousand crimes. In year
2000, in the investigation were put 10 thousand children and adolescents, who
arbitrarily left from the children's houses and boarding schools. According to
the data of Education Ministry of Russia, 368 thousand children do not attend
school. On the calculation of the organs of Interior Ministry consist 242
thousand parents, who do not fulfill parental responsibilities, but in the last
year more than 43 thousand parents were deprived of parental rights.
In
Russia is noted an increase in the number of cases of sexual violence above
children, and also crimes among young in the field of addiction.
In
the opinion of sociologists, all this originates from the fact that the country
survives the atrophy of the historical creation of Satsuma. Russia today
resembles the snake that swallows its tail. The reformation, to which Russians
attach great hopes with accession to power of Putin, loses rate. It devour its
our own children - inflation, total corruption and untied by the new President
second Russian-Chechen war.
All
this passes against the background of the regress - spiritual, social,
institutional, economic, demographic etc. But the ruling elite does not note
this. Here on 30th November, for example, Prime Minister M. Kasyanov,
coming forward in Duma with the report about successes of the economic policy of
office, he stated: «After prolonged period of stagnation, decrease and
continuous turns of crisis of our economy finally acquired the specific positive
inertia of increase».
The
cheap baritone of the premier vaticinator then completely convincing - budget
was accepted in third reading. But then the picture, drawn Kasyanov, somehow was
greased. Moreover were greased subordinates of Prime Minister from the key
economic department - they calculated, after smoothing seasonal variations that
during October, economic increase in Russia stopped. Most likely, for a long
time, because in view of the prevailing circumstances, an inevitable increase in
the prices of the gas and the electricity is in prospect, and then will run up
railroad tariffs. The inflation will be added to the stopping. It may, for a
short-term, push slightly demand, but in no way not investment, but this means
that situation can be tightened and become steady crisis.
If
this occurs, then reduction in the number and «quality» of the population of
Russia will obtain new momentum for further development. The basic reason for
extinction, as before, will become continuous suicide of nation. Will be
continued the washing out of its poorest layers, which heroically consume an
immeasurable quantity of cheap, poisoned vodka. Among the mutagenic factors is
not only «mass alcoholization of the country», but also «bread-potato diet»,
or unprecedented environmental contamination. Death acquires status of economic
category. At the level of children's mortality, Russia stands in the first place
in Europe, while on the lifetime of men – is occupied 135th place
in the world. The same index relative to women is characterized by 130th
place in the world, since in modern Russia are destabilized family and marriage.
Disease, as childbirth, becomes object of luxuries.
As
a result, Russia confidently enters into the third world on many of its
characteristics: criminalization of the economy; criminality and corruption;
international conflicts and wars; sharp decrease in the standard of living; huge
debts to the West etc. And hence also the crisis of national self-consciousness,
connected with loss of idea about Russia as a world power and, accordingly, with
further fascistization of the country.
Instead
of convulsively clinging to lost rename of great power, the political elite of
Russia could focus on internal problems mentioned above, but no. Putin and K°
endeavor to raise flag, without having been removed from the anchor. Indeed for
them is important – only to call Russia, great power. And therefore the
President personally guides by supersonic fighter, conducts tank and is present
at submerging in water of new atomic submarine. But it is not possible to confuse sublimity with value.
Now
being power is determined not by dimension of the country and atomic weapon, but
finances and high technologies. But in Russia on the contrary, by unprecedented
rates occurs internal militarization - under the gun (army, militia, Emergency
Ministry, custom-house, tax police) today are located more than 8 million people.
This is considerably more than it was in USSR with its superiority over present
Russia on the economic potential and human reserves two times. Things reach such
a state that round-ups for recruits even are carried out, since sharp scarcity
is perceived to the people in military form.
So
not for long will remain on the curb of history. But really for Russia
everything remains important: «not
to live, but to have a reputation»?
