The
staff of command of Chechen mujahideen reports about undermining of the military
convoy of Russian aggressors in Shelkovskaya district of the country. Explosion
occurred at a distance of three kilometers north of the populated area of
Kargalinov. According to report of Chechen side, in the course of moving convoy,
there were detonated three remote-controlled land mines.
After
explosions on the convoy, intense fire from grenade-guns and machine-guns was
opened. Chechen sources report that the firing at convoy continued about 15
minutes. After this, mobile group of Chechen mujahideen returned to its base.
According to the intelligence report, as a result of this attack, at least, two
armored-carriers (BTR) were destroyed and three additional units of the
automobile and armored machinery were smashed. In the skirmish were killed 5
invaders and approximately so many were injured.
Chechen
side brings up to date about skirmishes in the southern regions of the country.
In Vedeno district, along the road to the side of the populated area of
Tsa-Vedeno, occurred encounter with the so-called search-reconnaissance group of
enemy, as a result of which three invaders were killed. In the region of
Shirdi-mokhk of Nozhai-Yurtovsky district was blown up armored personnel-carrier
(BMP) of aggressors. But in Achkhoi-Martansky district of the country, saboteur
subdivisions of Chechen soldiers twice attacked reconnaissance groups of
invaders, after destroying at least 7 commandos of the enemy.
Tension
is continuing in Ichkeria
In
Ichkeria, fighting and saboteur actions are not ceasing. Mobile subdivisions of
Chechen mujahideen have carried out some successful operations against Russian
occupant-terrorist grouping in southern areas of the country. Thus near
settlement Beti-mohk, mobile group of Chechen fighters has entered fight with
formations of aggressors, which during several days carried out retaliatory
action in this village earlier. According to Chechen sources as a result of
fighting with aggressors, were destroyed 12 invaders and one BMP was burnt.
From
the Chechen side, one fighter was lost and few mujahideen received wounds.
Another clash with the opponent took place in area of settlement Nikihat. Here,
mobile subdivision of Chechen fighters fired at convoy of aggressors. As a
result of almost an hour firing, were burnt two units of combat
reconnaissance-paratrooper vehicle
(BRDM) and motor vehicle GAZ 66. According to Chechen sources, in clash with
aggressors were killed not less than 5 invaders.
In
Johar city, offensive group of mujahideen attacked positions and occupational
establishments of aggressors. From grenade launchers and machine guns were fired
at the building of TV station, commandant's office of Oktiabrskaya district of
city, and some block posts in Staropromyslovsky district of the capital.
According to Chechen side, as a result of bombardments and explosions in Johar
city during last 24 hours were destroyed at least two UAZ jeeps, one BTR and not
less than 6 invaders.
