Kharachoi, Tsa-Vedeno and a number of
other populated areas and farmhouses. In response to the actions of aggressors,
mobile subdivisions of the Chechen armed forces repeatedly attacked enemy and
inflicted significant loss on it in human and machinery.
So
in the region of the village Belgatoi, special-subdivision of mujahideen
attacked armored convoy of aggressors, after destroying two units of
armored-carrier (BTR) and zenith installations. In the course of clash were
killed not less than 10 invaders. Intensive encounter with the enemy occurred at
the height of Ersen-Duk.
Here,
according to the information of Chechen command, mujahideen destroyed so-called
maneuverable armored group of aggressors, two BTRs and armored
personal-carrier (BMP). But in the region of village
Tsa-Vedeno, Chechen soldiers blew up motor vehicle «Ural» with 20 invaders,
after destroying not less than 9 soldiers.
The
separate saboteur subdivisions of mujahideen continue to act in cities of Johar,
Argun, Gudermes, Shali and other large populated districts of Ichkeria.
According to the data of Chechen sources in the course of conducting saboteur
attacks during the recent twenty-four hours were destroyed not less than 12
invaders and were burnt up 4 units of different military equipment of aggressors.

and military actions
Reports
of the Russian mass media, that the President of CRI, A. Maskhadov and his
subordinated armed forces are ready to surrender weapon in exchange for the safe
departure from Chechnya is part of intentional provocation of some political
forces of Russia not interested in the fastest end of Russian-Chechen war and
beginning of peaceful political negotiations, stated to agency «Chechen-Press»
on the telephone by vice-Premier of government of CRI, A. Zakayev.
Commenting
on the report of Russian Mass Media concerning, supposedly, his conversation
with Kazantsev in relation to Chechen commanders Shamil Basayev and Khattab, the
authorized representative of the President of CRI for talks with Russia said
that this is the usual lie of Russian special services meant to introduce split
in the movement of resistance.
No
hearsays and provocations can split Chechen politicians and commanders, who know
that the force of Chechen soldiers and their victory in the unity and the
solidarity, noted A. Zakayev in the conclusion.
Meanwhile
situation in Ichkeria continues to remain stressed. Chechen sources report about
the military actions in Johar, Argun, Gudermes, and so in the southern regions
of the country. According to the data of the command of Chechen mujahideen in
the course of military actions were destroyed at least 6 units of different
military engineering of enemy and not less than 17 invaders.
At
the same time from the side of mujahideen, one became shaheed and 6 others
sustained injuries. Most intensive were clashes in the region of the so-called
Tsentaroi mountainous range. Here the mobile subdivisions of Chechen mujahideen
attacked armored convoy of aggressors, destroying two units of BTR and not less
than 8 invaders.
