With
unexpected and sensational enough announcement has acted, one of the main
developers of the present military campaign against Afghanistan, the leader of a
grouping of so-called «Washington’s
hawks», US
Defence Secretary Donald Rumsfeld.
He declared exactly the following. «Special services of USA cannot catch Osama
bin Laden, suspected in act of the organization of terrorism on September 11,
even if the authority of Taliban in Afghanistan will be overthrown. To find out
and even to destroy Bin Laden is extremely difficultly.
You
see huge number of the countries in the world, and Bin Laden can disappear
anywhere. Besides he is very rich and has significant number of supporters,
ready to support him. For this reason, I am not sure, that we shall achieve
success», - emphasized Rumsfeld. «But even if Bin Laden will be killed, the
enormous terrorist network will continue its existence, and it means, that the
problem of struggle against terrorism remains», - added head of the Pentagon.
In
announcement of Rumsfeld, who is considered one of the main ideologists of
anti-Islamic war, the following moments look the most remarkable. The first -
Rumsfeld speaks about Bin Laden, about the suspected organizer of air strikes on
USA instead of accused one, whose fault is proved. That is, Americans are
killing thousand of peaceful inhabitants of Afghanistan for an unproved charge
in address of one person!!! And it admits at an official level. Proofs about
whom, as Americans in the first days after the beginning of bombardments
actively spoke, neither was not, and nor is present till now. And - the head of
the Pentagon actually recognizes the second that overall objective of military
aggression meant at destruction of so-called «international terrorism» - is
impracticable.
These
really sensational recognitions cause a number of questions, on which, similarly,
there are no even approximate answers. However already it is obvious that
Washington began this war more from emotional - political reasons, instead of
strategic. Apparently that the efficiency developed by American military men and
special services of so-called «Retaliatory operations» appeared so low that
the Pentagon gradually starts to recognize hopelessness of lingering military
campaign and to prepare public opinion for a possible failure of operation.
It
is impossible to hide failures of USA in propaganda war. War against Afghanistan,
which was in a pointed manner and unequivocally supported by American and
British MASS-MEDIA, first of all CNN and BBC, practically discredited conducting
mass media of USA and UK, as objective and independent sources of the
information. In reality, the fact appeared, that CNN and BBC fulfill political
order, as well as those television channels and newspapers, which in
interpretation of the western MASS MEDIA are not free and are engaged only in
propagation.
Roles
have exchanged. Arabian satellite channel «Al-Jazeera» became CNN times of the
dawn, and CNN and BBC have turned into «Otankino» and «Beacon» of Soviet
times. Not less interesting events, directly connected to war against
Afghanistan, are occurring in Russia.
So
from the Siberian military region has begun mobilization of reservists. No call,
no gathering but namely mobilization of reservists. That is, those, who stand
under a gun at the moment of danger, hung above the state. And in spite of the
fact that commander of Siberian military region, General-Colonel Vladimir Boldyrev
assures, that mobilization is not connected in any way to aggravation of
conditions in Afghanistan, hardly one can trust in it. On words of Boldyrev,
mobilization already is going in Novosibirsk,
Kemerovo
region (in southern Siberia),
Krasnoyarsk
(in central Siberia)
and Altai territory. Thousand of reservists, including some hundreds of younger
officers will be mobilized.
Similarly,
as Russians learned bitter experience in Chechen Republic, began to understand
that to begin war is easy. But to finish it is very much and very difficult, if
not to tell, that it is impossible. The score of Muslims to Russia is not less
than to USA and their allies.
