operatively reacted to report of Moscow about his serious injury in the
battlefield. He contacted his personal correspondent of Kavkaz-Center in
Ichkeria on radio communication and declared, that the announcement of Moscow
about his wound and destruction of 30 mujahideen is a lie. «Actually Russians,
on our data, have lost about 30 soldier in yesterday's fight near to settlement
Starie Atagi. Thus they developed the idea that I have been wounded and 30
mujahideen supposedly have been killed». The correspondent of Kavkaz-Center
reminds in this connection, that Russians usually declare wounding or
destruction of Chechen leaders after significant successes of Chechen armies.
Destruction
of traitors and occupants in Ichkeria
The Staff of command of
Chechen mujahideen informs about execution of some of the verdicts of Shari’ah
court concerning group of national-traitors. Thus two national-traitors in the
settlement of Novie Atagi, 3 in Gehi, and 5 in Argun were shot dead. At the same
time, mobile subdivisions of Chechen mujahideen attacked places of deployment
and military convoys of occupants. The fiercest fight with aggressors has taken
place near to settlements Old Atagi. As the Chechen side informed, during one
and a half hour fight were destroyed two armored-carriers (BTR) and one motor
vehicle «Ural».
Firing with the opponent began
with detonation of two land mines in the course of movement of a convoy.
According to command of mujahideen, not less than 13 soldiers of aggressors were
killed in fight. On the place of fight, some helicopters of the opponent
appeared when mujahideen had already departed towards their bases. It is worth
mentioning, that settlement of Starie Atagi was blocked for about two weeks.
Here, as well as in the
villages of Novie Atagi and Chiri-Yurt, Russian occupants carried out
retaliatory action, as a result of which some tens of people including children
at the age of 10 - 14 years and elderly women were taken in hostages. Many of
them were killed. The destiny of 60 people till now is unknown. About 1000 local
residents have undergone to tortures and beatings.
Chechen
side informs about explosions of military engineering of the opponent in Johar,
Gudermes, and Argun. In Shelkovskaya district of the country, near to village of
Kargalinovskaya were destroyed two BTRs and not less than 10 occupants. And in
district of settlement Gilyany of Nozhai-Yurtovsky district of CRI was
undermined armored troop-carrier (BMP) and were destroyed 6 aggressors.
Chechen
mujahideen attacked invaders
The
Staff of command of Chechen mujahideen informed about new attacks on position of
occupants in Shalinsky, Vedeno, Achkhoi-Martanovsky and Shelkovskaya districts
of the country. According to the Chechen side in Shelkovskaya district of the
country near villages of Sary-su, the group of mujahideen attacked from ambush
on an armored group the opponent, having BTR and armored
reconnaissance-patrol vehicle
(BRDM). As a result of attack, one BTR and BRDM were burnt and 4 aggressors are
destroyed on the place.
In
Vedeno district near settlement of Makhkety, mobile subdivision of Chechen
fighters has fired at convoy of Russian armies, which was advancing towards
Shali. As a result of fighting, at least one unit of BMP and 7 invaders were
destroyed. And in vicinity of villages Shamil-hutar, offensive group of
mujahideen destroyed four occupants, during fierce firing with group of Russian
aggressors from 66th regiment.
According
to Chechen side in cities Johar, Shali and Argun are carried out successful
offensive actions against occupational grouping. In Johar city were blown up BMP
and UAZ jeep with 3 OMON soldiers. Along the street of Jukov was destroyed one
BRDM. In southern suburb of Shali, motor vehicle «Ural» was blown up and were
killed 5 aggressors. In Argun during last two days, mujahideen at night attacked
places of deployment of invaders.
As
a result of these attacks on confirmation of aggressors were destroyed not less
than 6 soldiers of the opponent and were hit two BTRs. Firing with aggressors
was marked in area of villages Samashki, Sernovodsk and Yandi. The Chechen side
informs about explosions of military engineering of the opponent and destruction
of not less than 10 mercenaries.
