One
of leaders of Russian Islamic committee declared, that he knows true organizers
and executors of terrorist attacks on New York and Washington on September 11.
«We know particularly who organized operations on September 11», - chairman of
Islamic committee, Heydar Jemal declared at press conference in Moscow. Heydar
Jemal of Azerbaijanian nationality, shiat, lives in Moscow and is the citizen of
Russia. Some year’s back, he conducted religious Islamic broadcasting on the
first All-Russian channel. Under some data, he has pro-Iranian position and has
close connections with leadership of Iran.
In
1989, he took part in the organization of the first Islamic party in USSR «Islamic
Party of Revival», whose congress was held in Astrakhan, despite of
counteraction of the Soviet authorities. It is interesting, that at sources of
this party stood well-known Deniyev Adam, former assistant of Akhmed Kadyrov (who
was destroyed according to decision of Shari’ah court in settlement Avtury of
CRI), Akhmed Qazi Akhtayev, one of the most authoritative Islamic scholar of
Dagestan (died in 1998 in mountain of Dagestan settlement Kudali), Abdullah
Noori, leader of Islamic party of Tajikistan, Bahauddin Mohammed, headed revolt
of Moslems in Tsumadinski district of Dagestan in the summer 1999 and similarly
some known Chechen leaders, some of whom died in last two wars.
On
words of Heydar Jemal, these actions have been prepared by «professional
services of certain already nonexistent state formations», and their executors
became «members of totalitarian sect belonging to various ethnic groups». «Moreover,
the center and roots of the incident are not in Middle or Near East, but
entirely in the West», - declared Heydar Jemal. He did not begin to concretize
the information, having noted, «He is not authorized to declare names or
organizations».
In
opinion of Jemal, «international terrorism is the phenomenon not of political
character», it is based on «initiative of special services and allows, «to
manipulate world processes». Besides chairman of Islamic committee does not
consider, that events on September 11 in USA were the last similar actions. «If
there is a purposeful staff for change of situation in the world, one such
action does not prove to be enough», - he told. Under statement of Heydar Jemal,
«acts on September 11 were prepared during several years».
Heydar
Jemal repeatedly was in Chechen Republic. He is personally familiar with many
Chechen leaders. He has close relations with so-called Russian patriotic
organizations. Supports the union between Muslims and Russian patriots, who, in
his opinion, should resist to extending influence
of
the West.
