«Yes to Basayev. No to Putin!»

With the passage of two years, neither comes a day, nor an hour that sacred struggle of Chechen people for freedom and independence may stop.

It is already difficult to exactly determine such day, when the second Russian-Chechen war began. Ichkeria bombed also in summer 1999, even before acts of terrorism in Moscow, and later in September. But we count the date of its beginning from October 1, the day when Russian tanks crossed the Russian - Chechen border and directed towards Terek.

It seemed to Kremlin, that it would be retaliatory operation, instead of a war. Invaders again, similar to that of 1994 went on pogrom. Self-confident, impudent, feeling for themselves support foolish propaganda of Putin of the unfortunate population of Russia, these fighters in any way did not expect to meet so rigid repulse of Chechen fighters.

Passed two years. During this time, Chechen Resistance many times «was destroyed, and crushed», death toll of mujahideen repeatedly exceeded number of inhabitants of republic, Occupants have grasped ALL settlements of Chechen Republic. But also after passage of two years, on any day or hour, sacred struggle of Chechen people for freedom and independence does not stop. And each year on October 1, on day of the beginning of new occupation of Chechen Republic, patriots of Russia in whom there is a small droplet of conscience, visit the square to express solidarity with heroes of Chechen Resistance.

This time on Pushkin Square in Moscow were carried out anti-war processions by Russian movement for independence of the Chechen Republic, Revolutionary Contact Association and National - Democratic Party «Watan» (Tatarstan). There was permission for the picket, therefore militia, with creaking teeth and full of rage, silently stared at posters «Yes to Basayev, and no to Putin!» Or «Remove fascist dictatorship of Putin!». Authorities were silent. But «Russian public» was raged. How much the participants of the procession had to hear plenty of offensive epithets from the whole crowd as not known whence appeared grandmothers - Stalinists with a red flag, which they, in fact, did not unwrap.

Especially anti-Putin poster exasperated them. «And how it is possible, as entire world is in favor of Putin, and you?» But almost, they splashed saliva concerning that we - Russian oppose genocide of Chechen people. Being sure, that we «were sold to Chechens for dollars», unfortunate grandmothers that shouted at us twenty minutes, so that «we diverged and would go to work!»

And, in general, procession passed successfully. Chechen flag not for the first time waver above the territory of Russia. Next time we shall carry out demonstration on October 30, on Day of the political prisoner. It also will be devoted to thousand victims of the Russian terror in Chechen Republic, tortured in concentration camps and filtration camps of chastisers from Federal Security Service (FSB) and Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).
