The
next rigid speech to address Taliban was delivered by British Prime
Minister Tony Blair. Before trip
to Moscow, Blair spoke in parliament and declared, addressing to – «Either
you Afghans will give out Bin Laden, or become enemies of the world community».
It is obvious, that, making this announcement, Tony Blair beforehand knew the
answer of Taliban, which some days back was sounded by Afghan leader Mullah Omar
– «Business is not Osama, but Islam. If we today shall give out Bin Laden,
tomorrow those who demand him from us, will accuse us of treachery…»
Thus,
announcements and threats to USA of the England and their western allies,
exactly, as well as answers of Afghanistan, testify that wars will not be
avoided, even if suddenly Bin Laden will immediately be handed over to Americans.
Obviously as, that primary rhetoric of Bush which he actually has tired out
himself in narrow frameworks of dangerous promises, will not allow the White
House to lower situation on brakes. And that Washington start to understand all
complexity of performance of the declared tasks, testifies actual refusal of USA
of the beginning of military operation, which was fixed on October 2-3.

forthcoming war. There are a lot of reasons for that and the main among them in
essence is present Afghan authority, which as appeared in actual fact, not only
does not depend on somebody (including Pakistan), but also is capable to rally
the nation for resistance of aggression on a powerful ideological basis.
Besides
military experts of USA up to now do not know even provisional number of armed
forces of Taliban and their arms. The number may be from 50 to 300 thousand.
They have hundreds of tanks, rocket installations, artilleries and systems of «Scud».
Afghanistan does not have water borders that complicate for USA the application
of aviation-carriers connections. Afghanistan is surrounded with loyal peoples
though some of them have hostile modes. But it can become not a minus, but plus
for Taliban as any defeat of USA will cause instant burst of national activity,
which, almost for certain, challenges dictatorial regimes of Central Asia, on
which are leaning United States today.
