In
spite of the fact that war in Ichkeria pushed aside Daghestan on a
background, neither in Chechen Republic, nor in Russia and not for one minute is
overlooked situation in this vital region of Caucasus. Summer events of 1999,
when in Daghestan went on full-scale fights, with evidence have shown that this
republic occupied by Russian armies, is waiting for the hour to blow up. And as
though Kremlin strategists and their stooges from among Chechens and
Daghestanies tried their best to represent events in Daghestan as "Chechen
aggression", but reality topple all these false statements.
Never
such a week passes that in territory of Daghestan, there was no subversive
action or Russian invaders would not find out next «wahhabist» hiding place
with weapon. Hot points in republics still remain Khasavyurtovsky, Tsumadisky,
Botlihsky, Novolaksky, Buinaksky and Gumbetovsky disticts. About three weeks
back, in one of these areas, a meeting of oppositional character Daghestani
groupings, which publicly declared that they are going with the weapon in hands
to free their country from invaders. In addition to it, in territory of
Daghestan continues to operate groups of Dagestan branch of Majlis of Muslims of
Ichkeria and Daghestan and Islamic government of Daghestan.
As
the prime minister of Islamic government of Daghestan, Sirajuddin Ramazanov in
middle of August, as he informed, received the big delegation from republic,
which included representatives from Avar, Dargin and lezghin tribes. Pro-Moscow
authorities of Daghestan, as before, are staking on terror and pressurizing of
Muslims. After severe pogroms in villages of Karamahi and Chabanmahi, in
so-called Kadar zone again has earned narco-sindicat. Destroyed by Muslisms in
years 1997-98 of papaverous plantation, today are well groomed and yield big
crop. Tens of millions of dollars settle in pockets of tribes of Magomedov,
Amirov and their Moscow patrons.
However
the situation in republic is far from that idyll, which is portraited by
official propagation of Mahachkala regime. And if the numerous armed incidents
in territory of republic, Makhachkala manages to hide, such a big subversive
activity, which took place on night of August 29, is not possible to hide. The
question is about explosion on a main oil pipeline of Baku - Tihoretsk. That is
what informed by Russian news agencies. «At the coast of Karabudahkent area of
Daghestan are proceeding works on liquidation of oil spillage appeared as a
result of explosion of oil pipeline.
According
to Ministry of Emergency Measures of republic, work on liquidation will be
prolonged for about two days. In the meantime, Office of Public Prosecutor of
Karabudahkent area of Daghestan filed criminal case on the fact of explosion of
oil pipeline of Baku - Tihoretsk. As informed today in Office of Public
Prosecutor, criminal case is filed under article 281 of division of 1 Criminal
code of Russian Federation. It is subversion, commitment of explosion, an arson
or other actions directed on destruction and damage of enterprises,
constructions, ways and means of information, communication facility, objects of
life-support of population with a view of undermining economic safety and
defensibility is punished by imprisonment from 10 to 15 years. Explosion has
taken place at 3 o'clock in the morning on August 29. The piece of oil pipeline
was damaged, and about 20 cubic meter of crude petroleum leaked out on the spot.
It
is difficult not to agree that really this subversive action is aimed against
Moscow and its satellites (employees) in Makhachkala. However, to approve
confidently, that behind it stands Chechen mujahideen, is also impossible,
though such version is quite logical, if to take into account, that in Chechen
Republic, there is the most severe war since two years. With the big portion of
probability, it is possible to speak, that behind subversion in territory of
Daghestan stand Daghestanies. Namely those, who with the weapon in hands already
battled with Russian colonizers in summer 1999.
