During
last 24 hours, activity of Chechen divisions continued to remain speedy. So
according to command of mujahideen, the fiercest firing with opponent occurred
in Vedeno area of the country, in Johar city, near villages of Chechen-Aul,
Gudermes and in Kurchaloyevsky district. According to Chechen side, offensive
group from among Islamic brigade of Rizvan Ahmadov destroyed special tank, which
was covering the passageway of the armored convoy. This tank is capable to
explode mines, thus opening passageway for military engineering. As informed
that Rizvan Ahmadov himself was hunting for this tank almost since a month. As a
result of his operation, tank was destroyed.
Command
of mujahideen informs about blasting of a minibus UАZ
jeep on the bridge between villages Mahkety and Tovzeni. Invaders went in
Mahkety after carrying out retaliatory action in settlement Hattuni. In this
village, Russian commandoes have beaten some local residents, demanding
information on site of mujahideen. Having taken in hostages of four peasants and
having sent them on base 45th regiment, Russians were directed in
Mahkety with similar purpose. However, vehicle of invaders on the bridge was
undermined. Only two persons remained alive among 11 commandoes. This
information was confirmed Amir Adam.
Chechen
side informs about blasting of automobile convoy in Johar city. In Factory area
of the city nearby to former fire brigade, two land mines were blown up during
passage of automobile convoy of invaders. As a result of explosion, motor
vehicle GAZ 66 and not less 5 aggressors were destroyed. And in Urus-Martan, two
mujahideen during broad daylight came to a post of invaders near one of office
buildings and from pistols at the stop shot them. As a result of this operation,
4 invaders were destroyed, informs Rizvan Ahmadov. Mujahideen took away their
weapon and left for their temporary base.
Chechen
side categorically denied message of Moscow on destruction of 20 mujahideen in
Kurchaloyevsky district of the country. Representative of staff of command of
mujahideen called this message as propaganda, not having to do anything with
reality.
