In
the beginning, there is quotation is from a report of information of the Russian
agency ITAR-TASS. "During
investigation of criminal case on the ground of preparation of capture of
control in Karachaevo - Cherkesia and Kabardino-Balkariya, State Office of
Public Prosecutor of Russian Federation found out, that some tens of wahhabies
from among the group of so-called "Karachaevian battalion" took active
participation in the armed intrusion of Chechen insurgents in Daghestan in 1999.
As noticed in the State Office of Public Prosecutor, it became clear during
investigation of criminal case on the fact of preparation of violent capture of
power in Karachaevo - Cherkesia.
From
investigation, it is also established, that members of jamaat repeatedly had
fighting training, terrorist and ideological preparation in territory of Chechen
Republic. In structure of so-called striking Karachaevian battalion, they took
part in armed rebellion in Tsumadin, Botlikh, Novolak areas of Daghestan in
August, 1999. Now "Karachaevian battalion" in structure of group of
Shamil Basaev renders armed resistance to federal forces in territory of Chechen
Republic".
This
first official recognition of Moscow of the fact, that in the ranks of Chechen
mujahideen actively battles of Karachaevian youth. Earlier Russian side
repeatedly recognized, that in Ichkeria on the side of Chechens are fighting
Daghestanian, Ingushs, Circassians, Kabardians, Nogaits’. Now Kremlin informed
about existence of striking "Karachaevian battalion". Having made this
recognition, Moscow actually recognized also about which it so diligently tried
to be silent about all this time - Russo-Chechen war for a long time already has
adopted nature of Russo-Caucasian war. And today with good reason, it is
possible to speak about New Russo-Caucasian war - war of peoples of Caucasus
against colonial domination of Russia.
At
all times, Ichkeria was the main stronghold of Caucasus in struggle against
colonizers. It was recognized by Tsar regime, and then by Soviet authorities.
The Russian and Soviet historians always designated Ichkeria, as "granary
of ghazawat", which "conveyed basic human and material resources on
front". The most important of battles with Russian colonizers always
occurred in territory of Ichkeria. Imam Shamil became sovereign Imam of Muslims
of Caucasus after his leadership was recognized by Chechens and took oath of
loyalty to him.
At
that time, for three years of battles in 1843, army of Imam Shamil, having
attacked Russian on all fronts, crushed practically main forces of the opponent.
Envoy of Imam Shamil, Chechen Muhammad Emin headed military forces of Adigov and
Ubikhov on the western Caucasus and at war against Russian till 1864. Russian
historians and generals recognized- "After Shamil became leader of Chechens,
they rushed from the mountains and spread over entire Daghestan.
In our hands remained only Temirkhan-Shura and fort of "Nizovoe".
Situation became menacing". (General Fadeev: "60 years of Caucasian
war"). Russian in an extra hurry had to gather new armies on all Russia.
And only in 13 years, in 1956, colonizers for the first time began to inform
about their military successes in Caucasus.
Today,
history repeats, but there is a little difference, that gathering of armies from
all over Russia became significantly troublesome. Serf soldiers of imperial
Russia cost them for nothing. The 25-years soldier's servitude did not give
chance for the slave to avoid war. Unique rescue for the serf became runaway to
Chechen Republic. From here are official reports of general Ermolov to Tsar, who
wrote - "Chechen Republic due to its freethinking influences badly on your
present imperial majesty and is a dangerous example for other peoples"
("Note of Ermolov").
Today
you will not win war for free-of-charge. And the world has changed. Means of
resistance of defenders and defenselessness of aggressors have increased by some
orders. The Russian sources even more often began to inform that in many regions
of Russia after financing of war in Caucasus was reduced, refuse to go to
Chechen Republic. The situation is such that to keep a level of financing of
military aggression, even at the present high prices for petroleum, Moscow is
not capable. The Kremlin has frankly offered an occupational grouping to be fed
in Chechen Republic independently.
For
anyone, even unsophisticated in subtleties of policy of a person, clearly, that
army, deprived of ideologies and fed on robbery of occupied territories, very
quickly degrades and becomes dangerous first of all for own governors. But
Kremlin does not have a solution. Putin cannot stop war. To continue it with
some intelligible purposes and to finance the same military adventure from the
state budget. History tells, that eventually such situation turns into
accident.
