Chechen-Caucasian
committee in Georgia, which was formed by a number of political forces of
Georgia and Chechen Republic, sets an aim to aid to economical development of
the region and to solve internal conflicts by peace negotiations.
As one of the initiators of forming Chechen-Caucasian committee of
Georgia Nodar Natadze stated the organization will propagandize the unification
of Caucasus nations and idea of rights equality and will help to refugees and to
people who suffered from conflicts. In
his words, not a single country in Caucasus does not has a moral right to solve
internal conflicts by using force methods and agreements between conflicting
sides must be achieved by peace negotiations.
4 representatives from Georgian side, 5 from Chechen republic Ichkeria
and representative from Abkhazia, from concretizing of whom Nodar Natadze
abstained from, form part of Chechen-Caucasian committee. Nodar Natadze expressed his hope that the Chechen-Caucasian
committee of Georgia on first stage of its work will consider Abkhazian problem
and will aid to Georgian side to settle it by peace
The
leader of “Unification of National Forces in Georgia” Nodar Natadze
considers that residence of Chechen refugees in Georgia is possible.
In his opinion, Moscow is trying to artificially create problems between
Georgia and Ichkeria and is using the issue Chechen refugees as a reason for
aggressions against Georgia. Present
powers don’t show their will and all processes occurring in Georgia, including
those in Pankisi Valley are “neglected”, Nodar natadze stated.
Russian secret structures are working in Pankisi valley and an organized
provocation can be expected, Nodar Natadze declared. He expressed his will that Georgian people, Chechen refugees
and local Kists will have enough wisdom to prevent possible excesses and
resistance. About 7 thousand refugees from Ichkeria are settled in villages in
Pankisi valley
