Russian
base fell underground

Russian
military base quartered in a populated area Borzoi of Shatoi region of CRI fell
underground after several days of pelting rain. Commandment of Chechen mujahideen reported this. According to
data of Chechen side large part of the base was destroyed as a result of deep
falling of the soil. There is no
concrete information about victims among the occupants because Russian side
restricted access to this information. However,
local dwellers working in the base report that at least 9 bodies of soldiers
were taken out on helicopter on June 7. It is also reported about 20 units of
military machine, which fell underground too.
Meanwhile,
Chechen subdivisions continue to attack vigorously Russian occupational
groupings. Chechen
sources report about armed clashes in Johar, Vedeno, Argun and Gudermes.
Mobile subdivisions of mujahideen and diversion groups have carried out a
number of successful military operations against Russian aggressors during the
last days. Russian occupants
sustained heaviest losses in Johar and Vedeno regions of CRI.
Thus, 11 soldiers of the enemy were killed as a result of explosions of
armored machines and military cars in various regions of Johar.
A fierce battle took pace in Gezri-Lam in Vedeno. According to data of
the Chechen side not less than 13 occupants were killed as a result of the
battle with detachment of Russian paratroopers. One mujahideen died and 4 were
wounded on the Chechen side. A BTR
was blown up in Gudermes; 3 aggressors were killed.
A car URAL was fired from grenade throwers in Chiri-Yurt. Reportedly, 6
aggressors were destroyed and not less than 8 soldiers were wounded.
