Headquarters
of Chechen mujahideen report about successful special operations of mujahideen
mobile subdivisions in towns Johar and Gudermes. An “Al-Tar” group attacked a small convoy of Russian
armored machines in the region of “Delovaya” bus stop in the capital of CRI.
“Al-Tar” group’s commander reported through radio communication
that as a result of the attack BTR and not less than 4 occupants were destroyed.
Aggressors BMP exploded on a radio directed land mine in Zavodskoi region
of the town. Three soldiers of the
enemy were killed. A violent crossfire took place in Chernorechie settlement.
According to the data of Chechen side 3 aggressors were killed at the
spot in course of the crossfire. 2
Russian officers were shot at point-blank in the central market of the town.
Combatants from Islamic regiment of special assignment, which is under
the commandment of Arbi Baraev, carried out this diversion action.
According to the reports of Baraev itself
2 national traitors who actively co-operated with occupants were shot
according to a sentence of Shariah court.
As
a result of a BMP explosion 4 aggressors were destroyed on the east outskirts of
the town in Gudermes. A short
crossfire with a group of occupants occurred in the area of a railway station.
As Chechen sources report 2 solders were killed and 5 injured as a result
of the crossfire. There are also losses on the Chechen side.
One mujahideen became a shahid. Diversion
group of mujahideen shot an officer of the Russian occupational groupings not
far from the center of Shali town. A
soldier escorting him was severely injured.
Chechen
side also reports about bombardments and machinegun shootings in south regions
of CRI. Villages and khutors of
Vedeno, Nojai-yurt, Cheberloi, Itum-Kali and Shatoi regions of the country were
exposed to the most intensive air raids. According
to the data of Chechen sources at least 8 civilians, including 2 women and a
teenager, all of whom were dwellers of village Ushkaloi, died in the course of
bombardments and machinegun shootings. Headquarters of the Chechen mujahideen report that at least 2
Russian aggressors died during last days as a result of their own mine
explosions. Two left hands with
scraps of camouflage regimentals and soldiers counter were found after an
explosion in early morning on outskirts of village market in the regional center
of Kurchaloi. Local dwellers
assume that Russians tried to blow up the market; however, the mine exploded at
the moment of its installation.
Basaev doesn’t know about
his “chief of the secret service”
Amir
of Supreme Military Majlisul Shoorah commandment Shamil Basaev declared that he
hears for the first time that he has a certain “chief of the secret service”
Bagiev who was supposedly detained by Russians.
Shamil Basaev remarked that all commanders and officials incoming to the
structures of the Supreme Military Majlisul are on their places.
