Mobile
subdivisions of Chechen mujahideen carried out in the last 24 hours a new series
of successful battle operations against the Russian occupational group.
As the amir of the Supreme Military Majlisul Shoorah Hattab, detachments
of mujahideen engaged twice in a fire contact with the enemy in Vedeno region of
the country. One and half
kilometers to the south of the village Janni-Vedeno, another Russian troop
convoy was attacked. In the
course of almost 50 minutes long crossfire, mujahideen destroyed one BTR and put
out of action 2 units of armored enginery.
At least 4 soldiers were killed and not less than 10 were wounded.
Near Zhyshne-Vedeno, a mobile subdivision of mujahideen blew up and then
fired a so-called armored maneuver group of aggressors.
One armored car of occupants was put out of action and 3 aggressors were
killed.
In
the region of Khidi-Khutor and Yalkhoi-Mohk military engagements with the enemy
also took place. Close by
Khidi-Khutor, Chechen combatants fired at a detachment of paratroopers and
destroyed one unit of BMD. In the
region of Yalkhoi-Mohk a battle was more violent. The crossfire with the enemy lasted over one-and-half-hours.
According to the data of the Chechen side in the course of the battle a
BTR and a war KAMAZ were destroyed. There
are no exact data about losses since Chechen combatants retreated after
helicopters approached the battle zone to avoid losses.
Later, a reconnaissance group of Chechen mujahideen reported that 2 km
away from the field of battle Russian war helicopters destroyed their own BMP
with several rocket volleys. The
Chechen side did not identify the reason of the happening.
Chechen
commandment reports also about successful diversion actions against the
occupational group in Johar and in Gudermes.
In the data of mujahideen, in the course of diversions, in the two
largest cities of the country 4 units of armored enginery and 7 various war
motor cars in the last day. At
least 12 occupants were killed. Simultaneously,
losses of the Chechen side were 2 mujahideen dead and 4 injured.
Russian
sources reported about the fire attack of a helicopter of the occupational group
with deputies of the Russian State Duma on the territory of Ingushetia.
It is reported that the commander of the helicopter is killed.
The Chechen side did not comment on the report in any way.
