Mother
threw her baby out of the window
Moscow’s
Regional Court jury unanimously brought in a verdict of guilty to 35-year-old
dweller of Ivanteevka, situated near Moscow, Natalia Kovalevski who killed her
two-year-old girl.
The fanatic mother threw the girl out of the window down from fifth floor
on the girl’s birthday!
On
the 1st of May 2000 small Olenka turned 2 years old.
On that day, the baby’s parents decided to visit friends.
Besides Kovalevski spouses and 39-year-old landlord of the apartment, his
girlfriend also happened to be at the festive table.
At about 7 p.m. the girlfriend went out for a walk with the girl’s
father. The hospitable landlord and the young mother with her daughter stayed in
the flat. To
all appearance, the baby distracted adults and demanded attention, and the
couple, which already had one over the eight for a long time, finally decided to
rid of the occasion’s hero.
Kovalevskaya self handily threw the baby out of the window.
The
apology for mother and the owner of the flat, where the drama took place, were
arrested on the same day.
However, later, after investigation, the man was released.
He was the main witness in court.
Juries
were shocked and unanimously brought in a verdict of guilty to Kovalevski.
The judge, in his turn, sentenced her to 12 years of imprisonment.
At the same time the killer-mother will be treated from alcoholism.
Over
the last days, Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, to which Kovalevski
appealed with a complaint, left the decision of Moscow Regional Court without
changes.
