Mother and spouse
of Gongadze refuse to give materials for repeated examination, till ascertaining
of the fact that the body from Tarasha is that of Gongadze. They are
disappointed and tired from contradictory results of examinations and
announcements of officials. Relatives of the journalist have made complaint
about actions of the State Office of Public Prosecutor, of not giving them
information on body found in Tarasha.
On Friday, spouse
and mother of disappeared journalist George Gonagdze have submitted complaints
in Pecher regional court of Kiev on wrongful actions of officials of the State
Office of Public Prosecutor. Relatives of Gongadze demand that court is obliged
to give them access to all examinations of "body from Tarasha".
Tired from
half-year announcements of the officials in which they have confessed by
themselves, about incapability of states bodies to establish truth in this issue
that where is Gongadze? - Relatives of the journalist do not trust anybody.
The Ukrainian
State Office of Public Prosecutor first declared that body from Tharasha belongs
to George Gongadze on 99,6%, and later on specified reliability up to 99,9%.
Only after that the State Office of Public Prosecutor has recognized that body
belongs to Gongadze. At the same time, the Munich examination, comparing with
DNA of mother of Gongadze, a drop of blood on his medical card, and also
fragments of "body from Tarasha ", brought from Tarasha by colleague
of missed journalist Alena Pritula, has proved that body from Tarasha does not
belong to George.
On this basis,
relatives of Gongadze draw three options of conclusion - either "body from
Tarasha" belongs to George, but Pritula has received fragments of other
corpse, or a body from Tarasha has no relation with Gongadze, but someone with
access to the journalist or his body has given cells to Russians, which has
given result of 99,9 % of reliability of its belonging to Gongadze.

Gongadze speak that recently State Office of Public Prosecutor puts upon them
pressure, demanding to carry out repeated examination of "body from Tarasha"
and to take blood from children of the journalist for comparison. "But,
proceeding from disputable results of genetic examinations and the condition of
body, we have no guarantees, that DNA of children will not compare with DNA of
the irrelevant person, and will not be used for further manipulation in this
case ", - as spoken in appeal by relatives of Gongadze. In addition to it,
such examination is not necessary any more, as German experts already completed
genetic profile of Gongadze, paying their attention to Gongadze.
Women, in others:
without confidence in age and physical parameters of "body from Tarasha"
coinciding with George's data, any examinations of DNA are groundless. But the
State Office of Public Prosecutor refuses them to acquaint with results of
forensic examinations in which there should be an information on time and the
reasons of death, age, physical parameters and features of the person, etc.
" Without access to such information, we can not know, whether there was a
body from Tarahsa, that body: whose bones have shown by Miroslova, that DNA,
which were analyzed in Moscow, fragments of which had and has transferred for
research of Alena Pritula ", - as mentioned in appeal of relatives of
Gongadze. In additional to it, relatives of Gongadze assert, that they are not
sure, what results will be achieved from investigation of FBI, who have been
addressed for help in this case.
For the refusal to
grant such information, State Office of Public Prosecutor gives reason that
investigation is yet not completed. " Such approach is deprived of logic
and is a breach of our rights ", relatives of Gongadze, don’t believe in
announcements and actions of officials.
"If the court
will satisfy our complaints and in such a way will provide access to these
materials, and we are convinced, that " body from Trasha " actually
match with age and George's physical parameters, we are quite ready to give
everything, that is demanded from us and will be necessary for conducting
additional and repeated examinations. But it only provided that fragments of
remains of "body from Tarasha" will be selected in our presence and
with observance of all necessary procedures ", - as mentioned in appeal of
women in court.
